ICE Detention Camps at a glance

This month, we are focusing on the American Immigrant Detention Camps. Though Immigration an Customs Enforcement (ICE) has long separated families of illegal immigrants, under President Trump, this issue has gotten out of hand. There are tens of thousand of Immigrants being held extra-judicially in such camps, and they lack access to basic sanitation or living comforts. There are also currently thousands of unidentified children being held in these camps with no way to be returned to their families. Given the great lengths ICE has gone to to hide such detention centers, it is every important to be aware of these inhumane practices. This month’s issue is devoted to understanding this issue and educating you on what is going on, as well on how to do more. There is no doubt that this issue is gripping America, so now it is up to us to do something about it.
